private eye letters

reeves-plum.jpg

Sir,
Now that we are only weeks away from our very first female Chancellor of the Exchequer, l was wondering has anyone else seen the striking resemblance between Labour’s Rachel Reeves and toddlers’ favourite Nanny Plum from the kids TV show ‘Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom’? The two even seem to share the same dulcet vocal tones as l’m sure any exhausted parent of a two-year-old will concur.
B. M. EARLEY
